Chili oil for ramen could be made in various ways, but our version is special since it is easy to make and doesn’t call for any fancy ingredients. This spicy chili sauce or chili oil is versatile, and comes together in under 15 minutes So, without further ado, let’s move on to the recipe!
How To Store This Chili Oil?
You can always make the spicy and saucy chili oil recipe for ramen in larger batches and store it for future use. You can use a well-fitting glass container or a mason jar to store.
Since we use fresh garlic and green onions, it would be best to use this within 3-4 days if stored in the refrigerator. You may also store it in the freezer to keep it well for up to one month. When you need to use the chili oil, reheat it after bringing it to room temperature.
What Else Can I Use To Make This Spicy and Saucy Chili Oil More Flavorful?
In addition to the ingredients mentioned on top, you may even use these ingredients to make this chili oil richer in flavor and texture. You can adjust the amounts depending on your preference:

Our spicy chili oil is NOT suitable for vegans since chicken bullion powder is contained in the homemade ramen seasoning we use. As mentioned above, you can use a vegan-friendly ramen seasoning if you prefer a vegan chili oil. If you’re using any premade seasoning sachets, make sure they do not contain non-vegan ingredients.
We have used avocado oil to make this chili oil which is a superfood for those who follow a ketogenic diet. In addition, this recipe does not contain excessive carbs, which makes it undoubtedly a great addition to the menu of any keto dieter. You can incorporate this with meat, fish, and seafood to have a tasty twist of flavor!
This recipe is NOT gluten-free since we have used soy sauce and tomato ketchup. Apart from that, if you use the seasoning packet from the ramen packet, it could also contain traces of gluten.
