Ingredients

  • 1/4 cup Ketchup

  • 1 tbsp Oyster Sauce

  • 1 tsp  Soy Sauce

  • 2 tsp Honey

  • 1/4 tsp Apple Cider Vinegar

  • 1 tsp Garlic (finely minced)

  • 1 tbsp Onion (finely minced)

  • 1/8 tsp Ground Black Pepper

  • 1/2 tsp Red Chili Flakes

Directions

  • In a bowl, add the ketchup, oyster sauce, and soy sauce. Mix until smooth and well combined.
  • Add the honey and vinegar (or lime juice). Stir well to balance the sweetness and tang.
  • Mix in the finely minced garlic and onion.
  • Season with black pepper and add chili flakes if you prefer a bit of heat.
  • Let the sauce rest for 10–15 minutes to allow the flavors to meld together.
  • Taste and adjust if needed. Add a little more honey for sweetness or a few drops of vinegar for extra tang.

Notes

  • This recipe yields about ½ cup of sauce, perfect for multiple servings. It works beautifully as a dipping sauce for seafood, fried snacks, or even as a spread for burgers and wraps.
  • For adjustments, add more honey for sweetness, a splash of vinegar or lime juice for extra tang, or increase chili flakes if you prefer more heat.
