Ingredients

  • 1 tsp Cornstarch

  • 1 tbsp Water

  • 2 tsp Freshly Grated Ginger

  • 1 clove Garlic (minced)

  • ½ cup Fresh Pineapple Juice

  • ¼ cup Fresh Orange Juice

  • 2 tbsp Fresh Lemon Juice

  • 2 tbsp Soy Sauce

  • 2 tbsp Honey

  • 1 tbsp Apple Cider Vinegar

  • 1 tsp Orange Zest

  • ¼ tsp Ground Cinnamon

  • tsp Ground Cloves

  • tsp Ground Allspice

  • ½ tsp Red Chili Flakes

Directions

  • Mix cornstarch and water in a small bowl to make a slurry. Set aside.
  • In a saucepan, combine Freshly Grated Ginger, Garlic, Pineapple Juice, Fresh Orange Juice, Lemon Juice, Soy Sauce, Honey or Brown Sugar, Apple Cider Vinegar, Orange Zest, and spices (Cinnamon, Cloves, Allspice, Chili Flakes).
  • Bring to a gentle simmer over medium heat for 5–7 minutes, stirring occasionally.
  • Stir in the slurry and cook another 1–2 minutes until thickened and glossy.
  • Taste and adjust seasoning as needed. Use as desired or store the unused glaze in a well-fitting container and refrigerate.

Notes

  • Brush over meats or veggies during the last 10–15 minutes of roasting, or drizzle before serving.
  • For variations, adjust the chili flakes for heat preference, swap honey with brown sugar for a deeper caramel note, or add a splash of rum for extra richness.
