Ingredients

  • 1/4 cup Fresh Lime Juice

  • 2 tbsp Extra Virgin Olive Oil

  • 1/4 cup Fresh Cilantro

  • 3 cloves Garlic

  • 1 1/2 tsp Lime Zest

  • 1 tsp Salt

  • 1 tsp Ground Black Pepper

  • 1 tsp Sweet Paprika

  • 1/2 tsp Ground Cumin

  • 1/2 tsp Dried Oregano

  • 1/2 tsp Ground Coriander

  • 1/2 tsp Brown Sugar

  • 1/4 tsp Crushed Red Pepper Flakes (optional)

  • 1 tbsp Fresh Orange Juice

Directions

  • dd the fresh lime juice, olive oil, cilantro, garlic, lime zest, salt, black pepper, sweet paprika, ground cumin, dried oregano, ground coriander, brown sugar, crushed red pepper flakes (if using) and orange juice to a blender or small food processor.
  • Blend until the mixture is smooth and the cilantro and garlic are finely incorporated, about 30–60 seconds. Scrape down the sides if needed and blend again.
  • Taste and adjust the seasoning with a little more salt or lime juice if desired.

Notes

  • Best Results: Marinate chicken for 2 to 8 hours for maximum flavor and tenderness.
  • Versatile Use: This marinade also works well with shrimp, pork, fish, or grilled vegetables.
  • Customize: Add more lime juice for extra zing or increase the crushed red pepper flakes for a spicier finish.
