Ingredients

  • 1/4 cup Balsamic Vinegar

  • tbsp Honey

  • tsp Dijon Mustard

  • 1 clove Garlic (minced)

  • 2 tbsp Minced Shallots

  • 2 tbsp Fresh Parsley (finely chopped)

  • 1/2 tsp Salt

  • 1/2 tsp Ground Black Pepper

  • 1/4 tsp Red Pepper Flakes

  • 1/2 cup Extra Virgin Olive Oil

Directions

  • In a small bowl or jar, combine balsamic vinegar, honey, Dijon mustard, garlic, parsley, salt, pepper, and red pepper flakes.
  • Slowly drizzle in the olive oil while whisking continuously until the mixture is fully emulsified. (If using a jar, seal and shake vigorously for 30 seconds.)
  • Taste and adjust — more honey for sweetness, more vinegar for tang, or more red pepper flakes for heat.
  • Let it sit for 10 minutes before serving so flavors meld.
  • Store the leftover dressing in a sealed jar in the fridge for up to 7 days. Shake before use.

Notes

  • This Balsamic Honey Dressing makes about 1 cup, perfect for dressing 6–8 salads or using as a flavorful marinade for meats, roasted vegetables, or grain bowls.
  • The recipe can easily be adjusted by adding extra honey for sweetness, more vinegar for tang, or increasing the chili flakes for heat.
  • Stored in a sealed jar in the refrigerator, it keeps fresh for up to 7 days. A quick shake before serving restores its smooth, emulsified texture.
